chalktopus!

Julie and i have been eyeing this dried up fountain space in the Northside for some time and finally decided that it was time to get out the old sidewalk chalk and turn it into something special. in this case, a cardinal rose and an octopus, which we have so fittingly dubbed the chalktopus.

We've had a few mishaps in our abode with old chairs falling apart. so when i found a pile of stumps a few blocks from home, i knew what had to be done. this is the result of salvaging an old chair with a goal of sturdiness in mind!
